How do I add a link to a mix / liveset?
Click on the "Downloads" link.
Once on this page look for the link that says "Add Download."
My download got interrupted, and its taken a point off my remaining downloads, if I re-download it will it deduct a further point, or can you download it as many times as you want?
You can download a set multiple times, and you will not lose additonal points. It counts it as being one download.
What is a bitrate?
When referring to audio, bitrate is a measurement of bits each second that audio distributes. The sound quality will improve as the bitrate improves. For example MP3 files with a bitrate of 128KBPS is more likely to sound better then a MP3 file with a 64KBPS. However, the 128KBPS MP3 file is going to be larger in size. To help conserve space required by audio files individuals and companies have developed "bitrate converters" that will convert a high bitrate file to a lower bitrate. These software programs are especially useful for users who wish to store audio files on MP3 players with limited space. Most software MP3 players tell you the bitrate somewhere in the player.
Why can I not download anything?
We have a policy on the site where people must participate if they want to download music.
The download area is setup as follows:
You need 1 point for every download.
Check the FAQ - User Point section for info on user points.
Note: If you attempt to download a mix, and the download gets cut off you can download the set again and you will not lose additional points.
Why can I only stream music on this site?
This is a setting on your computer. Not the site.
To fix this we recommend using the Firefox browser.
Once installed in the menu is a "Tools" option. Choose that, then go to "Options" on the left select "Downloads" then on the right side you'll see an option "Ask me where to save every file" check that on.

IF it still streams when you go to download, then your gonna have to uninstall Quicktime or whatever program is streaming them.

If you still have problems. Send one of the admins a private message.
