What is MPIII Mapping?
MPIII Mapping also called Artist Mapping is a one of a kind proprietary process that has been developed by MPIII.com. The process maps artists to other artists based on the download data from all the users.

Using this download data we apply mathematical formulas to determine how artists relate to one another and we use mathematical algorithms to determine the scoring.

There are many factors determined in the results shown. The formulas and algorithms were developed in a manner so the results shown are not based completely on popularity.

Although we have developed this process as best as possible, there are times when the results shown may not be as expected.

If there is no data listed for a particular artist then the system could not find enough data for that artist to compile a proper mapping.

These formulas and algorithms may be adjusted over time to provide better results.

If you have any further questions about this process please post in the support forum.
