Comment: Another well made mix by Senior Severence. The spanish seniorita singing in the beginning has a very nice voice. The 6 minute mark has some nice ambient textures to it which lasts for about 10 minutes. 17 minutes in another woman singing. The background noises are kind of erie, haunting. It's like the woman is telling you a story about her life, and the choords are the highs and lows of her times. 20 minutes in the mix more ambient elements come back into play. 22 minutes into the set and I'm reminded of what it's like being in a house of mirrors at a carnival. Then when you get to the end you open the door and it's a big white room but you can't see any ending to it, just an erie noise again. This woman shouting or screaming, can't make out what she is saying. I think she wants out just like I do. She appears before me and tells me about her dreams. Than there is a very long interlude of more ambience and the woman singing. 33 minutes into it and the mood changes, for the better. I hear a mans voice and he tells me a secret. Maybe it's Severence's way of telling me a secret? Very light ambience for the next 5 minutes or so. Then the ambience picks up and horn sounds come in. The temp picks up more after the 43 minute mark. Things are racing around. Horns start honking and it reminds me of being in rush hour traffic. Everyone honking their horns, the busy-ness of it all. Than it all comes crashing banging down. Like an accident and shit flying everywhere. Then a voice comes over and they're talking about children and death. Lets hope no children were hurt in the making of this set. More very light ambience for the next 5 minutes or so, than you hear the sound of a loud massive horn. Like a very large boat in the distance sounding it's warnring that it's coming near. The fog is dense and all you can hear is the big loud horn. Than a smaller boat signals with it's soft sweet sounding horn sound which sounds like it hopes it doesn't get run over by the big boat. The two exchange sounds back and forth with their horns. The little boat's horn sounds sweet and innocent and the big boat's horn sounds mighty but passive. After a while you can no longer here the horns of the boats. A nice soft beat kicks in and some more erie sounds end the set.

Severence's sets are always musical journey's.

Comment: ;-) Superb sound quality allows you to enjoy the music. I am not very keen on the start of mix and I felt like I like the second half much more. But I believe it depends on current mood of each one. IMHO this is not the best set by Sev, however it's still amazing ambient and deep electronic sound. This has simply a soul...

Comment: While this set was personally a bit too minimal for me, I can definitely see it's quality musically. Other people have said all you need to know about this mix.
