Biography of Drop The Lime

Born and raised in NYC, Drop the Lime (aka. L. Venezia), began recording music at an early age. Inspired by the local rave scene he had grown up in, Venezia bought a pair of turntables and began DJ'ing jungle, drum&bass.

Imagine a twisted Justin Timberlake with dance moved so dysfunctionally confusing you'd think he was a shot performer battling with the sounds of his own music. Within the elements of your older brother's hardcore punk, lies pinches of grimey drum&bass so evil you forget to check for your spare eardrums. With releases on respected underground labels worldwide as ambush, peaceoff, broklynbeats and tigerbeat6, his rising status in the developing scenes is constantly growing. Incorporating his own vocals with raw basslines and pindropping rhythms, be ready for some new damage on the dance floor.

DTL is a dagger in the sound of your pop music hearththrob.
