Biography of Mark Sanchez

Biography:
It all started back in the Bronx, New York during the late 70's listening to
the sounds of Soul Sonic Force, Afrika Bambata, Trans Europe Express, Kraftwerk
and many more. At the time 'Block Parties' were the place to be for
up and coming DJ's to showcase their talent and also listening to the newest
tracks being produced at the time.
Following the steps of his older brother, Mark became involved in entertaining
others with his own style. After moving from NYC to Connecticut, Mark and his
brother Victor began to throw their own House parties and entertaining others
with what they learned back in NYC. Not too long after they moved to CT. they
were known to throw the hottest parties in the small town of Enfield.
During the late 80's Mark made the decision to move out of the small town in
CT. to the Sunshine State. This turned out to be the best decision in his career.
Soon after, Mark began making friends and connections in the music industry,
which would open many doors for him in the future. One of the connections turned
out to be DJ. Orlando who took Mark under his wing and helped him to get his
first gig in FL.
After about one year Mark finds himself working alongside DJ Orlando in Daytona
Beach at one of the hottest dance clubs at the time where DJ Orlando was the
resident DJ. During this time Mark spun Freestyle and House Music, which were
the styles that he was used to playing.
Now with over 15 years of experience Mark's style is recognized statewide and
beyond and now Mark has incorporated 'FUNKY BREAKS' into his sets,
which is the style of music that is really getting attention through out the
U.S. He has performed at nightclubs such as The Coliseum, Icon and The House
of Blues Concert Hall just to name a few. He has opened for DJ Icey, D:Fuse
& Paul Oakenfold, Baby Anne, Crystal Method, Sharaz and many others. Mark
is also known to be one of the best up and coming promoters in Central Florida
with successful shows like The 1st Sunrise at The Plaza Resort and Spa in Daytona
and also responsible for all the talent being booked at Club 600 North.
Mark Sanchez is definitely a DJ to keep your eyes on during the new millennium.
With his extensive experience, natural talent and now together with 808 Music
Group he will without a doubt be one of Florida's top emerging DJ/producers.
