Biography of Zuperman Feat Mc Flow
Any true jungle head traveling in Detroit's underground has become familiar with Dj Zuperman. Although he has only been involved in jungle and drum and bass since mid '97, Zuperman's newness to the scene should not be taken lightly. At the age of 18 he held a residency at one of the first Drum and Bass clubs in Detroit. Step, at the Labyrinth was considered a fresh new alternative to Detroit's house and techno clubs. Step eventually evolved into Kinetics, seeing the kinetics crew (8en, Zuperman, and Ronin) taking full responsibility for promoting, booking and running the club night. Zu has also kept a residency at the Motor Lounge on Tuesday nights (Family), Champion Sound on Wednesday nights at the magic stick, and most recently, Obscurum at the Porter Street Station on Sundays. Voted by Motormouth magazine as Detroit's best Drum and Bass DJ in 2000, it's no wonder that he's spun alongside the likes of Ed Rush, Optical, Usual Suspects, Dieselboy, Freaky Flow, Dara, and AK1200 just to name a few. Zu's Drum and bass music has been absorbed by an evergrowing following, and like any true artist he seeks to inspire.
