Biography of Razor Nukels

1997 is when it all began, Sacramento, CA was the place. A Small group of high school friends began going to local area raves. This is where Razor Nukels had his first contact with the techno and rave scene.

October 1999 was the official beginning of his love of trance music. It was a party called Gigabeats, held in Sacramento, CA. It was ultimately the last big rave in the city. It was after a 'magical journey' that night that Razor Nukels understood where the music would take him.

Later in 1999 his good friend of many years DJ Crescendo (then known as dj nemesis), started instructing Razor Nukels in the ways of turntablism. While crescendo was into jungle and hip hop, Razor Nukels found the sweet melodies of Trance to be more to his liking. He learned the mixer and turn table basics and stored such information for later use, for his plan to become a DJ.

From 2000 to 2003 Razor Nukels expanded his knowledge of the scene, the music, and the people involved in that which he was engulfed.

2004 brought his plans and aspirations into focus. . He would then truly become part of the culture by making the purchase of his first turntable and mixer setup. He used the stored knowledge of music, gathered since 1997, to begin purchasing rare and highly sought after vinyl records.

Mid 2004 he began practicing for what was to become the start of his career as a trance DJ.

January 2005 saw DJ Razor Nukels release 2 mixes. One a vocal Trance set, and the other a hard trance set. The same in Feb. '05 with two additional mixers. Also in those two months saw his first taste of live mixing at several house parties.

What the future holds for DJ Razor Nukels is unknown. But we can all expect nothing but hard work, high dedication, and beautiful beats from this up and coming trance artist.
