For past five years MKDSL (Moj Kum Duva Super Lepak) has been working as a DJ in all clubs in Belgrade, but at the same time he is engaged with production. Music he plays he describes as “intelligent dance music”; MKDSL is also a founder of electro scene in Belgrade. He already had the opportunity to work with great DJ names, such are Richie Hawtin, Jeff Mills, John Aquaviva, Felix da Housecat, Miss Kittin and the Hacker, Mark EG, Martini Bros,I-F, Charles Siegling (Technasia),Thomas Schumaher, Spiller, Savas Pascalidis, Abe Duque, Bangkok Impact,Benny Benassi, Cristopher Just, FC Kahuna, Darren Price, Bob Sinclar and others. According to Richie Hawtin, he is the most talented DJ in the region “who plays attention-grabbing music and emits strange energy”. During last two years MKDSL has become DJ resident in clubs, working hand-in-hand with established Belgrade DJs.
He was awarded for the first time in 2003, participating in the Young DJs Competition. His work was published; two tracks for respectable “Belgrade Coffee Shop” editions and remix of “Move on” (by MISTAKE MISTAKE) for Austrian Masterplan records. At the beginning of 2004 MKDSL started a show with DJ Flip on B92 radio; they named their show “Let’s go to Mars” (“Idemo na Mars”) and you can check it out on Saturdays (10pm-00) at www.b92.net. This specific show is trying to overcome gaps between domestic and international production, and to promote Serbian scene and artists.
