Biography of Dizzy
Meet Donald Eley; an intregral part of today’s international House Music scene. Donald began his impressive carreer by taking the West Coast US by storm along with compadres Hipp-e and Johnny Fiasco coining a new sound in House Music later to be known as West Coast Tribal. Not a bad start eh? Donald has been a DJ and producer for more than 7 years now and during which time he has produced and remixed music under the moniker Dizzy and The High Plains Drifters. Donald is 1/2 of the High Plains Drifters w/ partner in crime Thomas White from Natural Rhythm. Donald has had over 25 release’s on labels such as Om Records, Brique Rouge, Aroma, Offset, Inuendo, Electrik Soul, Moody and Bluem in addition to his vast production credits on Doubledown and Lowdown. He has performed at events on every continent, except Antarctica (but he’s accepting bookings there for 2004)
Dizzy’s workhorse innovator reputation is no accident. He tours the globe constantly pushing his Snap’n Funky sound while simultaneously running three highly revered record labels – Doubledown Recordings, Lowdown Music and Flygaric Tracks. This would complete what would seem to be enough legacy for one man. Apparently not for Dizzy since in addition to all this, he produces track after track of the most sought after groove inducing House Music that has kept him in demand since day 1.
He now has thrust himself into a new frontier of the music industry - Digital Rights Distribution. Donald has joined Ingrooves as Director of Industry Development and finally gets to combine all his talents and use his broad based industry knowledge and contacts to virtually A&R the entire
electronic music segment of many leading sites such as Itunes, Napster, Music Match, and many more!
Donald lives and surfs in San Diego, CA so head to the beach to find one of the busiest DJ/Producers in House Music today.
