Biography of Mufson
Well well, it al started in my basement in 1999. I was 15 years old. Togheter with my dear friends Natan f and Stickie I made from my parents dull basement a good place to chill and hang-out. Amazing what you can do with some old furniture, posters and lights! We then got the idea to give a party there. Fishermans club basement was born.
I didn't play yet, but Natan f did. He knew also another dj from school, and that was speedwagon. Speedwagon entered our lives ;-), he played techno back then and Natan f played dark techno! Well styles have changed, haven't they? We trew a small party there and with the little benefits we bought some things for our 'clubhouse' like discobol and blacklights (not many benefits that means:-)). The basement became the favourite hang-outplace for us and our friends. From our headquarters we tried to introduce some good music in Engsbergs but that wasn't easy. My parents didn't allow me anymore to throw party's in the basement. They said that a youthclub and café under their livingroom was already enough, they couldn't handle a discothèque :-)
Some time later, at the end of 2000, I bought the old JB's of Natan f and started playing too. At first I played deephouse but I changed my style and started to play techno. I played quickly at some local party's but that didn't mean much. Got to start somewhere!
In the summer of 2001 Stickie came up with the idea to give an open air freeparty at a very sweet location almost in his backyard. Nightscapes freeparty-organisation was born! I started playing at more and more party's in the neighbourhood.
In June 2002 I played for the first time at soapclub, were I now hold a residency. In August I played again in the technoroom of orange. Also in August we organised nightscapes again, with 2 rooms this time: d&b and techno. Wicked festival!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I played in the technoroom of course. In November I played at I love sharphill and Why love techno? My carreer is getting some shape now! (let's say a little bit :-) Respect to the people who support me!
The party ain't over till the last record spins!!
