Biography of Randy Seidman

At only 23 years old, Randy Seidman has established himself as one of the youngest, hardest working Electronic Dance Music DJs in Southern California. His passion for quality & time-appropriate music has created a demand for Randy that he is humbled to meet.

At his young age he has already shared stage time with Ferry Corsten, Gabriel & Dresden, Christopher Lawrence, Rank 1, M.A.N.D.Y, Serge Devant, Colette, Heidi, Jason Bentley, Randy Boyer of EnMass, Victor Dinaire, Kristina Sky and Thomas Datt among others.

Additionally, Randy is gaining national exposure resulting from a string of high profile gigs. For the past two years, he graced the decks at the Winter Music Conference in Miami. During WMC ‘08 he had the honor of playing at the Ultra Music Festival along with some of the worlds finest EDM artists (Moby, Carl Cox, Paul Van Dyk, Tiesto, Danny Tengalia & Eric Prydz to name a few). He is gearing up to do it all over again at Ultra '09.

This past year Randy has toured with the trance music power house,Infected Mushroom (DJ Mag top 10 artist two years running), and played with them at such venues as Cervantes, Church, and Beta in Denver; Empire Ballroom in Las Vegas; Webster Hall in New York City; Belo in San Diego, Tentation in Orange County, Vanguard in Hollywood. Recently, Randy has been added for international tour dates with the band, completing tours of Mexico (Villahermosa and Toluca), India (Mumbai, Hyderabad, Bangalore), and Canada (Halifax & Ottawa). He is looking forward to his first trip to South America to play along side Infected Mushroom at the Kapital Elektronik Music Festival in Quito, Ecuador.

In 2005, Randy interned for the president of GIANT, one of the world’s largest Electronic Music Promotion companies. The time Randy spent working closely with Giant during college helped him to foster relationships with many individuals, and ultimately landed him a job directly after graduating from college working at the worldwide music booking agency, Coast II Coast Entertainment - where he quickly became manager of artist tours. Tours managed included: Infected Mushroom, Louie Vega, Skazi, GMS, Roy Davis, Cevin Fisher, KRS-One, and… Ron Jeremy.

In May of 2008, Randy left Coast II Coast Entertainment after agreeing to take a job managing the tour operations for Mushroom Touring Inc., Infected Mushroom’s tour corporation. Being able to manage Mushroom Touring from home has enabled Randy to focus more attention on productions.

In June of 2007 Randy's first release came out on Biohazard, a Remix of Victor Gonzales's Better Step Up. Since then Randy has had a stream of releases including his remix of Grow Aware's 'Express Yourself,' which was released in September, 2008 as part of the compilation Essential Tech House. His tracks and remixes can be found on beatport.com, trackitdown.net, dancerecords.com, djdownloads.com, AND ITunes. 2009 is going to be a big year for Randy as he anticipating releases on big labels, so stay tuned!
