Biography of Tomas Haverlik

Tomas Haverlik represents and delivers the ultimate Slovak progressive sound with the highest quality. His activities root in a project back in the year 1999. The projects name is Haverlik&Tkac. Starting there, these two started to produce music together as they felt about music the same way, The direction they went, together with their passion for trance music, caused immense evolution within their creation, as on the start it was the EuroTrance style in german-speaking countries, which made them so enthusiastic.

However, this style became so popular, that the west-european trance scene had missed the point within this style completely, as it went too shallow. But in the same time, these two artists did not have the problem to stay focused and sensitive to their own dreams and potential, so they were searching deeper and had found what they had missed in the UK scene, which was very innovative and progressive in many aspects of the trance music creation process. And this is still the case, even today.

Thanks to these various elements used, this style was labeled „progressive“, and going back to the leading personalities you will find names as John Digweed, Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie, Sister Bliss and many many other big names in trance music. The music which these famous artist produce today can be seen as progressive electronic styles of music, but their creation is hard to localize, when we are speaking in terms as trance or house. The progressivism can be seen in the stylization of the songs they produce. The core of each song is a strong motive, which keeps on re-appearing to the happening within the song. Another element comes in the form of a very atmospheric texture, which always causes the effect, that each song becomes a unique face.

The rhythmic is characterized by a kick-through base rhythm with percussion sounds twisted all the way around it, followed by a huge amount of samples and effects. These receipt got very soon recognized by the music labels back in year 2002. First of these records – Hannah / by Tomas Haverlik was a true breakthrough, that is one of the reasons why it still is recognized as a favorite. Its abyssal sound bares the trademark in the artist’s music perception. The non-affecting motive, turns the song into a fairytale, and that i show the whole character of this song comes actually through.

The seccond release of this duo is called TYRA. This song and his universality caused that, it was packed, even as a promo to many many dj suitcases. Just an example, Deep Dish, Deepsky, Hernan Cattaneo, John ´oo´ Flemming, Sander, Kleinenberg, Sasha, Satoshi Tomiie have worked with this song. The following release SYNTHIA faced a very similar reaction and lead to many remixes. The latest release is called NOEL (vocals by MISHA a well known Slovak artist). All songs are apart of various CD compilations and sets, delivered with the glance of the world – trance elite. Right now, another release is on its way, i tis a remix for the Deepsky formation and for trance DJs Fil and Peri. After hosting many radio-remix sessions, Tomas made the break through and deserved a special space for realization on the well-known „progressive – trance“ radio ETN.fm. His residential night, the so called ComUNIQUEation in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia, held on a monthly basis, is the place where the worlds best prog-trance artists are performing today.

The rating is exploding through the housetop, and it comes, that Tomas is a vital member of the UK label - Baroque Records, and its great dj portfolio. Tomas is right now working on his following tracks and releases, which are fully exclusively assigned today.
