Techno in Leipzig, techno from Leipzig ' without the name Christian Fischer wouldn't be possible anymore. The career of Christian Fischer as DJ and producer started in 1996. His debut called 'Xaja', he produced together with Christian Hessel under the alias 'Cam 2', was released also in 1996 on Statik Entertainment. The payment for these for that time was very courageous and inspired minimalistic production were grandiose reviews, after that more tracks on Statik Entertainment followed.
Nevertheless Christian Fischer never forgot working and practicing with turntables, then his talent and inalienable determination broke through and he brought the clubs to the boil. From Leipzig to Frankfurt, Nurnberg or Hanover, Christian Fischer took over all of Germany very quickly. Together with Carl Cox, DJ rush, Chris Liebing and Marco Baily, Christian Fischer delighted the dance-addicted crowd, even going abroad with the Global Control Tour in Finland and Brazil in 2002. In the land next to the Amazon, Christian Fischer was celebrated so wildly that he could play guest performances in some cities two or three times. 2004 is the year when Christian Fischer will be internationally established because of his unmistakable mixing skills and with the new DJ system Final Scratch, he has shown his skills in the UK, Bulgaria, Hungary, Turkey and in Kosovo. In the near feature he will also play in open air festivals Kazantip (Russia) and Istanbul. Not only his DJ career is on the rise but also his own productions. The 11th release on his home label Statik Entertainment brought drastic changes, which was recognized by scene heads like Asem Shama (Vanguard), Sven Dedek (Basic Implant) and Rino Cerrone (Rilis).
Everybody says: one should build up a house, plant a tree and start a record label, so Christian Fischer comes up with his own child, Definition Records' through which he releases artists like Ade Fenton, Justin Berkovi, David Squillace , Tuomas Rantanen, Arkus P. or Thomas P. Heckmann. After the outstanding 'Global Control' ep by Christian Fischer, one admires the 16th release on Definition Records by the Men of Noise, comprised of Fischer and Hartmut Kiss. Then in in 2004, Hertz, Brian Sanhaji and DJ Lucca are added to the Definition Records artist roster. Fischer is also hardworking in the studio. He engineered Lucca's 'fast life' and produces some tracks with DJ Murphy. He also works on external productions for Toneman.
