Biography of A.I.P. aka Bjorn de Baal
Axel Klopfer aka. A.I.P. was born on valentines day in 1983. He lives music since his early days as a young man, but really started DJing and Producing in 2001. After a few years of training and hard work, he gave his first demo tape to Leipzig's Chrome Club. After his first year in the Club, there where more and more booking in Leipzig and some more clubs in Saxony, Germany.
He is resident in Leipzig's Chrome Club since May 2004. A.I.P. had his first Outer-Germany-Gig in september 2005. It was in Brugge, Belgium. His producing skills grow with every day, and there will be releases in winter 2006 with Flashback Records. The techno label of his close friend and Chrome Club resident Christian Wolf aka. Wolfie. A.I.P. canceled his stand alone liveact and started the project Chaos Theory also with Christian. Axel's music spectrum is very large. It reaches from Brighton techno, over hardtekk and wonky to also hardcore. (Only at special events and if he really wants to.)
In 2005 he started his 3rd Project: Bjorn de Baal. His love to the minimal, electro techno and techhouse grew more and more. And more and more vinyls got there space in the dj bag! He plays some chilling minimal beats, but also some ass sweating electro and techhouse beats. Even his producing reached the minimal techno area. With some percussion games, wired tunes and nice pads, he wants to create some new kind of minimal techno! Or he even tries!
