Logan D started to listen to jungle music in 1993 when he was just 10 years old. He was inspired by his dad, (Micky Finn) who was always playing the music when they were together.
By 1995, Logan D was up and running with his own set of technics 1210's. It took him 9 months and he was mixing in tracks together tight. He then started playing on pirate radio stations such as Freedom FM, Pressure FM and Conflict FM.
In 1997, Logan D started to work in his local record shop, (Boogie Times) every Saturday. Through working there he was able to get access to promo records, test presses and get to know people within the scene.
The owner of Boogie Times then introduced and recommended Logan D to the owner of Kool FM & Jungle Fever (Eastman). Eastman asked Logan D for a demo mix tape, which Logan completed within 3 days and sent it off. Six months later Logan D got a phone call asking him to do a guest spot show as a one off on Kool FM.
So 1998, Logan D made his debut on London's and world's greatest Drum and Bass Station Back 2 Back with DJ Crissy Criss alongside MC's IC3 and Riddla. The show went so well and got such a good response that Eastman invited them both back for a prime time weekly set.
Also in 1998, he experienced playing at clubs such as Atomics (Kent), Astoria 2 (London), The Stratford Rex (London), The Scala (London), and the Chunnell Club (London).
In 1999 - 2000 Logan D was still going strong on Kool FM every Sunday. People were really enjoying his shows. Skibadee, Shabba and MC Det would come down every other week and the phone line would go crazy. Promoters were now starting to hear him more, artists could hear him more, and most important the ravers could hear him more.

It was only really in 2003 when he got he first real bout of recognition when he was voted ‘Best Newcomer’ at both industry favourite Knowledge Magazine awards as well as the Accelerated culture awards. These two events saw him catapult onto the scene literally taking people and places by an absolute storm. His success story is one that is made from legend as by 2004 he had gone from Newcomer to King where he lifted the ‘Best Lyrical MC’ title from Skibadee for which eleven thousand people voted worldwide to put him in that place.
Since then Eksman has gone from strength to strength with the release in 2005 of Drive by Car, produced by Bingo head honcho DJ Zinc. Other releases included Bad Man on Frontline Recordings and They Don’t Know on D Style Recordings. This year also saw Eksman win ‘Best MC’ in the BBC Radio 1xtra Online awards and he featured as the first guest on the hugely successful radio station.
2006 saw the release of Na Blood featuring Herbzie and Shortston which was the first full length vocal drum & bass video produced by the now legendary Eksman. In an extremely short time, in terms of a music career, Eksman has exploded onto the scene in a way that isn’t comparable to any other talent. For someone still so young, the future can only be bright for this innovative and melodically gifted MC. A Bingo album, world tours to America and Asia as well as some super fast paced, deep and witty lyrics still to come, he is definitely something that has to be seen to be believed.

Herbzie first got into the music in 1993 when drum and bass was known as Jungle, highly influenced by rolling beats and bass lines. Back in those days Herbzie's main music was Ragga due to fact that he was the mic man on a Ragga sound that used to play out around his manor. As he continued to listen to the music it progressed into 'Ragga in da Jungle' and he started to chat his lyrics to it. Herbzie linked up with Eks man and they made a few tapes, the two have gone from strength to strength and remained close associates since. The original sparing partners from way back when, first debuted on the radio in 1996 on Pressure Fm with Dj Kutta, on the regular Sunday afternoon rinse-out session. Herbzie was on Pressure for just over a year, and then they stopped broadcasting so he moved to Ruud Awakening, there he perfected his skills doing regular shows every Friday and Sunday. Having spent 10 years broadcasting on the airwaves, to this day Herbzie can be found performing guest appearances on Londons radio station Kool Fm, and on various internet stations. Over the years Herbzie has been developing his own personal style. Ragga is still a huge influence in Herbzies life but he is a very versatile MC and can spit lyrics over most beats including garage, U.K grime and new skool breaks. However, drum and bass has always been the main captivation for Herbzies creativity in producing lyrics. With its fast beats and thunderous bass lines Herbzie is able to create lyrics on any subject. Ever since he started chatting Herbzie has built up a respectable following in the drum and bass scene by performing at clubs in many different locations in the UK and worldwide.
