Biography of Lady Morana

Lady Morana aka Morana Magzan was born in 1975 in Zagreb, Croatia. She's the mother of two children, is passionately in love with music, not only electronic, but all kinds of music that makes her emotions alive and kickin'. She grew up on many music styles such as heavy metal, rock, pop, and finally found herself in electronic music 10 years ago. After dancing till death in clubs in Zagreb and London, she finally decided to take place behind the decks, to express her vision of electronic music. Her most loved style is progressive, combined with the electro/minimal sound. She started mixin' house on vinyls in the number one club in Zagreb, and continues to play in many places such as: Fanatic (Zagreb), Varazdin (Extravaganza club), Sibenik (Peskarija), Jelsa (Vertigo), Rovinj (MTV Valkana Beach) and also abroad London (Bar Local), Kosovo, Serbia, Bosnia, Germany.

Unhappy with the position of the female DJs in Croatia, she's been thinking more often about making some moore promotion and events with girls/female DJs only. Her thoughts were realised after she met Slovenian DJ-ane Trick-C who had till then a lot of experience in booking and organising ladies events. She decided to join an agency Urban Divas and Trick-C decides to colaborate with her for some of the projects in Croatia. Lady M is a member of Urban Divas and mainly also partner for projects in Croatia as well. The colaboration started very successfully as some of the first all women's events took place in Zagreb in clubs like Fanatic where Lady M is working as a resident DJ-ane.

Her first production track, the remix of the Slovenian's hip hop band song called The Game, on which she was working with her colleague Ewan, was very well accepted and soon to be released on the Ewanmusic label with more productions to come.
