Biography of Timo A. Hummel

Whenever you hear about 'Timo A. Hummel', you can be sure that I'll play hard techno. Hard techno is my main music style.

Many people and hobbyists belong either to hardware or software guys - I am both. When I'm playing live on stage, I use the Yamaha RS7000 (also check out the music section) to kick the crowd. When I'm at home in the studio, I use all my equipment and additionally the very excellent software Fruity Loops Studio by Image Line Software.

I'm doing music since 1996 and started off with so-called Trackers - simple programs which play samples in different pitches. My first tracker was ScreamTracker (Picture) by a well known demo group called the Future Crew. After that, Impulse Tracker (Picture) by Jeffrey Lim followed shortly after that. After using Impulse Tracker for more than 2 years, I started using Buzz by Jeskola. In late 1999, I bought my first real hardware music box, the Yamaha RM1x Sequence Remixer. After that, a bunch of hardware followed.
