Biography of Leon Segka
Of Greek origin, Leon Segka has been making music since early 1998 and in 2000 he established the highly successful ntrop records.
Leon describes his sound as new electronic techno and has always aimed to deliver songs as apposed to club tracks. A example of this was his recent colaberation with vocalist olga kouklaki on the track Inside You which featured on his recent Monsanto EP.
Now living in a Berlin, Leon finds himself situated at the heart of Europe's techno scene and being exposed to some of the worlds finest djs and producers. Leon has no lack of influence when it comes to new music but never fails to forget his early influence from the likes of The Happy Mondays, The Shamen, Jeff Mills and Laurent Garnier.
With a lengthy discography of tracks and remixes Leon also releases what he calls lostlooped electro under the pseudonym Joalz and with this alias he has released music on Crosstown Rebels and Filament Records.
