Biography of Anoraak

A 1986 mustang slowly drives through a dark anonymous street, lit only by neon signs. It stops. The bass from the music inside the car can be felt in the air. The door opens and purple smoke comes billowing out. All that can be heard is the blasting synths of Anoraak. Anoraak is an electro act from where else, but France. Through their music and aesthetic they have been able to completely capture the 80’s throwback. Obviously influenced by the electro founders, M83, Daft Punk etc. but they have taken their sound in a new direction. Their album Nightdrive With You was just recently released and almost sounds like the soundtrack to a dark 1980’s futuristic sci-fi flick.

Comment: this is a set for those who love 80's beats, also, good choice of tracks but when it comes to mix them together to create the set, i thought it was a lil short by the end of it. I also love the fact that if you hear first the set before reading the biography, you actually think almost exactly what the biography says, good job on that.
