Biography of DJ Chiclet
Over the past 9 years, Marcia Kwok, aka Chiclet, has worked her way through countless raves, club residencies, and special events to become one of Toronto's most recognized and versatile DJs. She holds a current residency with Viva Nightclub and has held past residencies with Purple Heaven Productions, Film Lounge, Room 19, and Charlie's (inside the Guvernment). She has played at several special events and clubs around Ontario and Quebec including the World Electronic Music Festival, Pride Toronto, Toronto Pride Ball, Hullabaloo, Destiny Fridays, System Soundbar, Sound Emporium, Mad Bar, Limelight, and many more. She has performed alongside many world-class DJs including Commander Tom, Lady Dana, Cosmic Gate, M.I.K.E./Push, Kevin Energy, and many more.
With her specialty being Trance, Chiclet is also known to masterfully blend several different genres including Progressive, Breaks, Electro and House. A unique mixing style and technical prowess, combined with eclectic track selection, eagerness to experiment, and a vibrant stage presence make Chiclet a welcome addition to any event.
Aside from DJing, Marcia has completed a Sociology Degree from Queen's University and a Degree in Radio & Television Arts from Ryerson University.
