Biography of Jeremy P. Caulfield

One of Toronto's most prolific and admired techno and tech house DJs, Jeremy has held some of the city's top residencies. Including the legendary Fukhouse at Industry; Blue, and Mission. Recently Jeremy has quietly infiltrated the global ranks of the minimal and techno scenes with a rough, edgy and immediately recognizable sound. Tricky, stalking and complex, Jeremy's productions follow a theme that defies the typical stereotypes of today's techno. His live sets have crept up to grace the dance-floors at this year's Mutek festival in Montreal and the Transmediale Festival in Berlin and his growing list of productions are featured on labels such as WMF, Trapez, and Dumb-Unit; the label he runs out of Berlin. Distributed through Germany's esteemed Kompakt, Dumb-Unit, has quickly grown to become one of the most respected and consistent of Canadian labels.

Comment: I downloaded this set based on a recommendation in the Shout Box. Turns out it's not a bad choice at all. Usually I would go nowhere near a set from someone unknown to me with a name like Jeremy P. Caulfield, but hey... it's quite a good set regardless of the DJ's name, and I think I might be checking out a few other sets from this Caulfield fellow.
