Biography of DJ O.B.I
Tobia Lüke aka OBI was born in 1982, in Greven, Germany.
His first connection with the music started in his school hood with drumming. He met with the electronic music at the age of 12. He got his own equipment on his 14th birthday, to learn mixing. First he played house and trance records. At the age of 16, he already got numbers on smaller events, and private parties. When he was 17, his musical taste was intented to Techno. By the age of 18, he started to play in clubs. In 2001 February he won the New Born dj race in the Fusion Club, in Munster. He started to organize own parties in his hometown, Greven in 2002.
The TekkTribe was born. First dealt with events, booking and promotion, but in 2003 April, he started the TekkTribe records, with his first release, the 'gehoersturz ep'.
He is releasing records with other different labels, his 2 new labels are the Free Vision and the Distorted.
He first debuted on an NGOHT event on 11th September 2004, where he made a friendship with the team and became a resident member. But this residential membership was cancelled due to personal problems. With the withdrawal of Morison in 2006 September, he got another chance to prove his talent on the NGOHT nights again ;)
