Biography of Sowelu aka Miss AntiGravity

After letting her tables sit for about seven years, April 2004 is when Sowelu aka Miss AntiGravity decided it was time to finally expand on her love for the music she’d been dancing to since 1991 and see what creative energy would be unleashed thru mixing. By June, 2004 she had her first opportunity to play on a sound system at a small venue in Huntington Beach, CA and then in July of that same year, she held her first residency at Club 66 on the club night, Residence, in Hollywood. With just over four years experience, she has been fortunate enough to play at venues and desert locations in Los Angeles, San Francisco, San Diego, Orange County, Portland, Oregon, Taos, New Mexico and Las Vegas, alongside some very talented DJs, including; Thee-O, Frankie Bones, Jason Blakemore, David Alvarado, RAW, Glitch Mob, Oscar Da Grouch, Simply Jeff, Ron D. Core, Derrick Carter, Lawnchair Generals, Barry Weaver, Doc Link, DJ Fabian, Steve Loria, Tribal Souls Crew, Moody Eva, Dawn of Sound, The Bodyrock DJs, Big Cee and many others.
