DJ Loud started to be interested about electronic music in 1996. It all started when he went to his first techno raves with friends around Portugal. At the same time, the trance scene was beginning in Portugal and DJ Loud started to play his first gigs at trance parties, first around Lisbon and then around Portugal. He also played for a Portuguese party promoter Magma Productions. At the time, this label gave him the opportunity to play with some of the best and well-known names of psychedelic goa trance DJs around the world such as Tim Healey, Mark Allen, Holeg, Zoo-b, Kushi, Migas, Paulo, Pena, Diogo and many more. After all this, DJ Loud was bored and wanted more so he began a new phase and got involved with Chicago house along with some minimal and hard techno, leaving behind the trance scene forever. DJ Loud started playing what he really loves, house and techno, which are the styles he still plays. Then he had the chance to play with more DJs such as Morrice, Yen Sung, Nuno Rosa, Pan Sorb, DJ Al, and many more. He also won first place and was recognised by an important Portuguese magazine about electronic music, Dance Club, in a contest for the best DJ set in June 2005.
