Biography of Jose Maria Ramon
Jose Maria Ramon was born in Ibiza. Since he was a kid he started to be exposed to music, breaking his grandmother old radio and repairing it back again. He started to do his own mixes using tape recorders, cutting and joining tapes.
He first worked on Ibiza radio stations at the age of 16. Now eighteen years later, he presents and runs three radio shows on the most listened-to radio in Ibiza, Ibiza Global Radio: F1 Morning Sounds, Melodias para tu Sofa and Funk-A-Delia. LG2DC and programming toghether with the rest of the GR crew.
He has a really fresh and happy way of DJ:ing, doing pure freestyle sets including styles such as lounge, downtempo, broken beat, un-funk, groovy trumpet vibes and afrobeat!!! Jose has been known to keep Le Premier Etage and El Salon vibrant with whatever suits the moment. A true Ibicenco DJ!
He has been DJ:ing as a resident the opening and closing parties of main clubs in Ibiza...You can always find him spinning every sunday at Space. Also Funk-a-Delia at prestigious El Hotel or at right here on Ibiza Global Radio [http://s6.viastreaming.net:7010/]
