Biography of Federico Giust

Federico Giust started his music career as a producer in 1997. A couple of years later he got closer to the decks to become a dj. His sound tends towards progressive house, tech-house and electro. After years of listening to dance music he got sound influeced by guys like Hernan Cattaneo, Steve Lawler, Dave Seaman and John Digweed just to name a few.

His tracks goes from Tech and Progressive Tribal to Progressive House and some electro aswell. Always with a little deep and dark sound on them. He had signed tracks with Adjust Recordings, L2 Music, Resurgent and Distraekt Records. And also has some featured on CD compilations for PMB Music and Beef Records. Some of his tracks had been played by Hernan Cattaneo on his radio show 'Resident from London'. And they're also supported and played by dj's like: Hernan Cattaneo, Anthony Pappa, Dj Tarkan, Brisker & Magitman, Dimas (Beatfreak), Martin H (Invent Recordings), Dominic Plaza (Stereo), Koolt (UY), Fernando Picon (UY), Logiztik Sounds (Uy - Segment Records), Red & Blue (UK - Tune-In/Progress-In/Adjust), DJ Sun (Lt - Stereo Productions), Danny Graham (Uk), Adrian Dumitra (Ro – Only Records), Oliver Steriopulos (Uk – Source of gravity), J & S Project (It), Kamishake (Uk), Dan Welton (Uk – Adjust Records) and more.

His sound and tracks got him closer to the international scene, and played at some of the most importan international radios like: FriskyRadio where he has a show called Quimika Sessions twice a month, Digitally Imported, Eccentric Beats, Mercury Sessions, Urbana FM, Capital FM, Prolejtas FM, Justmusic.fm, Cba.fm, Beatbox.fm, and ADN Alternative.

His djing skills also took him to play in Uruguay, Argentina and Australia. Playing at places like Sonic (uy), Key (uy), W. Lounge (uy), Aura Lounge (au), Castles (au), El Dorado (ar), Jacko's (ar) among others. Where he shared booth with: Marco Nastic (Se), Valentino Kanzyani (Sl), Kamisshake (Uk), Dj Dorian (Cl), Marcelo Castelli (Uy), Paco (Uy), Dj Gabo (Br), Spitfire (Ar), Miguel Silver (Ar), Marcos Paz (Ar), Denise Konzen (Br), Romix (Ar), Juan Pablo Sgalia (Ar), Tato Piatti (Ar), Dj Corrie (Uk), Eduardo Esquivel (Uy), Ruben Duffey (Uy), Rocha & Lewinger (Uy), Dj Koolt (Uy), Dj Schwa (Cz), Jester (Au), Spyke (Au), Miyagi (Au), Matt Promo (Uk), Mark Saunders (Au), Darkchild (Au), Motech (Au), Mark Murphy (Au), Rif Raf (Au), Nabisco Stu (Au), Logiztik Sounds (Uy), Dj Ethnic (Uy), Alejandro D'Angiolillo (Uy) and many more. And in 2007 he has become resident dj at Key (uy) wich is one of the most important dance clubs in Uruguay.

Thanks to all this and his 10 years in the scene he has become one of top and most respected progressive dj/producers in his country

Comment: This 1hr 12min set has great audio at 256 kbps, which is a good they come (unless you're a free lossless audio codec junky). Unfortunately for us, it doesn't quite hit the mark. The beats are faster, fatter, with many breaks leading to changes in tempo. Yet we can't speak for all. Those into harder edged material would do well to give it a try. Enjoy should you add this to your HD.
