Biography of Paper Monster
Paper Monster is the collaberation between
the city of angeles own Darwin and Seltek
Seltek: Inspired by a FSOL quote “We are not musicians we are simply collage artist”. Ex graffiti artist turned dj / producer Seltek uses his street background along with his physical, emotional, and personal experienceS of living in the urban cultural melting pot that is Los Angeles to produce diverse electronic music for dj’s to spin, dance floors to bounce, and listeners to enjoy. By producing eclectic break beat styles that infuse 80’s synth pop, old school techno, hip hop, and a wide scope of electronic landscapes Seltek has helped to create a truly defined sound. By djing Seltek has pushed electronic music to crowds on the dance floors of LA’s electronic scene since 97’ and producing music with veteran producers such as Nico of No U-Turn Records since 03’.
Seltek’s masterfully crafted dj sets of ever evolving breaks along with hard hitting bass lines have always been his signature on the dance floor and now he has incorporated this formula into his production.
