Biography of Kr!z
Kr!z (BE, Art/fact, Polarise)
Kr!z story with electronic music started after walking the many genres of music. He didn’t need much time to feel the heat of the vibe: a comparison between his heartbeat and the one of energetic tribal techno.
Is it easy these days to get well-respected places in the scene? Kr!z had vision and entered several dj-contests. Having won a lot of n°1 trophies, his superb technique was quickly the ‘talk of the Belgian scene’.
And so his emancipation … Kr!z earned spots on some main events in Belgium: he got invited by Kozzmozz (7th anniversary) & Fuse, where he still plays on regular basis. A demo of this solid pumping techno sound was picked up by the national radio show ‘Switch’ whom offered him a spot in the new talents room of I Love Techno.
When 1 + 1 = 2, it won’t be a surprise his dj-schedule gets him all around Belgium, with first gigs across the borders of France and Netherlands.
Every weekend Kr!z gets the party going with his technique consisting of fast scratches and vicious beat juggling. Expect funky tribal techno with hardgroove and even ghetto-tech influences.
Together with his friend Rezza, Kr!z created Syntax. This project captures a blistering show on 4 decks and two mixers incorporating funky tribal techno and some darker edged sounds.
