Biography of Obvious World
I'm currently living in the forested mountains of western North Carolina with 20+ years of DJing experience and nearly 15 years of producing electronic music. I have been blessed with many underground opportunities and fantastic friendships. My origins rest in the roots of transcendental meditation, ethnobotanism, music as medicine, technicolor summer-of-love raving and the ever-wonderful zippie pronoia. I believe in free soundsystems and non-commercial entertainment for higher consciousness.
My joy of DJing and sharing personal compositions can be heard worldwide for three hours every sunday night 11pm (eastern U.S.) on KRUUfm.com, the internet home of the physical station known as KRUU 100.1fm, which is based in the cultural district of a fantastically groovy artists community in Fairfield, Iowa. The show is three hours long and typically features my own creations as well music composed by others. I have been known to enjoy focusing on high quality Creative Commons protected music released by Net Labels for FREE so rock on!
