Biography of Ortin Cam

It all started on the 8th of April 1982. Tom Macoye was born and raised in a small town called Heusden-Zolder, Belgium. At the age of 12 he started to buy his first dance music cds and records and on the age of 14 he starts spinning records on his attic. His life slowly changes when the Belgian radioshow Technoville is launched and from that moment on hes a total techno freak.

A year later at the age of 15 he starts making his first beats and at the age of 17 he gets the chance to play at a local radio in Brussels. The program maker really likes the tracks Tom has made, so Tom passed the demo to a few labels in Belgium and one of them is Headroom Music.

The Headroom crew likes the demo so much that it gets released on the Invasion Imprint and at the age of 17 the first 12 is in the stores. After a few more 12s for Headroom they split up and Tom starts producing for a few other labels as well such as Pornographic, Anlx, Highland Beats. But since he and Zzino are still working close together Tom keeps on releasing on the Ex-Headroom Imprints now handled by NEWS.

Also on a musical level Tom and Zzino get along fine and they decide to work as a production team together. Also Guss Carver joins the team and releases follow on Invasion, Session, Corachi, Traction, MB Elektronics, ... Tom is one of the guys to look out for in the future; at the age of 22 he has already touched down on over 20 labels such as Global Trax, Giant and Dwarf, Highland Beats, Equator, Bound, Soul Access, Invasion, Session, MB Elektronics, Traction, Pornographic, Traction, In-Cycle, ... He has remixed people like Adam Jay, Tomaz vs Filterheadz, Zzino, Jan Liefhebber, Panic Attack, ... and soon hell kick ass around the globe with a banging live set... Things are looking good for Tom... !

Biography of Cave

Cave first started DJing in 1998 and has been playing activly in clubs and events since 1999. His music style has over the years developed into fast-paced tribalelemented techno, using 3 decks + effects as well as specialized productions only to be used in his dj sets to make the techno experience greater! In 2001 Cave started producing techno tracks following a first release on Ben Sims' label 'Ingoma', a sublabel of Theory/Hardgroove. This release, named 'Carne Levale EP', turned out to be a huge success throughout the world, with the track 'Street Carnival' being played regularly by some of the best DJs within techno, names like Carl Cox, Chris Liebing, Adam Beyer, Ben Sims, Umek, Marco Bailey etc. aswell as more mainstream names like DJ Tiesto, Judge Jules and Mauro Picotto. Also Street Carnival has been named track of year 2003 by canadian technolegend Mistress Barbara and was the themesong for the huge party Innercity 2003 in Amsterdam.

Closesly following this success came remixes of the 'Street Carnival' track by Ben Sims, Gary Martin and house-producerlegend Nick Holder which was out on the Ingoma imprint earlier this year, in addition to remixes from Max Walder of Street Carnival and a K.Cee remix of the track We So Krazy released november 2003. Making a follow up of the Carne Levale EP, his second release 'The Carima EP' on the London based Hydrophonics label was released early 2004, featuring huge tracks like 'Cave - Carima'.

Since then Cave has done releases on many labels, like Intec, Primevil, Ingoma, Wet Musik, Real Sessions, GFR ++. Early 2005 the first release on Cave's new label Spilo Records was released with great success. The label will continue thru 2005 with huge artists like Ben Sims, Hertz, Marko Nastic, Bryan Cox, Felipe & Nicolas Bacher and many more.

These days Cave is touring the world with his dj-sets and the brand new live-act, having already visited over 40 countries on all the worlds 5 continents, including Japan, Australia, Brazil, Venezuela, Netherlands, Portugal, Spain, Belgium ++, there are several more to go for 2006. Check out bookings section of this page for Cave's complete dj-schedule. The music from Caves productions reflects very much the style in his DJ sets, playing music with heavy beats and percussion on 3 decks to give the audience the best experience possible! Check out the demo-mix page for a taste of Cave's dj-sets, and the liveact demo to check out the new cave liveact.

Comment: That's it! :) The end is real Techno like in 2001-2004. If you like that era, download this live mix. It's the best of the best! I hate the minimal because it's boring and makes me sleepy. But this is good morning people music so get up and dance! :D
