Biography of Alexi Delano
For Alexi Delano, producing sweet sultry house music comes naturally. He has released his fathoms-deep music on numerous high-end house labels such as Earthtones, Wave music, Poker Flat, Svek, Turbo Recordings, F-com, Plastic City, Super Bra, Blank Ltd, Raw Elements, Court Square recordings and of course his own labels Test 542, Corner Shots, Random Dynamics and AD limited. With a production style that sits neatly between house and techno. He has collaborated with some of the biggest names on the scene, including Jesper Dahlb�ck, Cari Lekebusch, John Selway, Vincenzo Ragone, Adam Beyer, Jori Hulkkonen, Darshan Jesrani, Lucas Rodenbusch and Casey Hogan.
Born in Chile and raised in Sweden, Delano took to the turn tables in the early �80s, playing a combination of hip hop, funk, and soul. At a mere 15 years of age he had his own radio show, based in a suburb of Stockholm. At 17 he became the resident Dj at Stockholm's first after hours club where he played continues 9 hour sets and then head on to school in time for the days first class.
Delano discovered electronic music on a trip to Spain in the late �80s at a time when acid house ruled the airwaves. Upon his return to Stockholm, he wasted no time in teaming up with his old friend and the city's premier producer, Cari Lekebusch, with whom he co-produced 'Life On The Other Side,' released on the Stockholm-based Loop imprint. His debut release was well-received by the underground dance fraternity, spurring him on to produce further recordings for Loop and for its sister label Plump House.
In the mid �90s Delano relocated to New York where he spent his time developing new monikers like ADNY for his deeper house music and G.O.L. and LEIVA for the techier. He also found the time to start two new labels, Corner Shots and Test 542 which went on to become two of the most respected deep house labels of the circuit. Delano and Mr. Cari Lekebusch also got together in New York City to produce a string of techno EP's on labels such as Missile, Hybrid, Primevil, Primemate and Jericho including a full length album for the Swedish Grammy nominated house label SVEK.
After releasing successful full-length projects for Svek, Earthtones and Plastic City, Delano was approached (year 2000) by Tiga with his Montreal-based Turbo Recordings imprint to produce an artist album. The result 'Selections 97-2000' is an incredibly rich collection of both percussive and jazz inspired vocal house music that stimulates the mind as much as it moves the body.
Now, in 2005, Mr. Delano keeps searching for new inspirations and ideas to re-shape the music that he loves. He has started two new labels, Random Dynamics, which will focus on the harder sound of electronic music and AD-LIMITED where he will tend to release a collection of his previously unreleased material in alternation with his new ones. He is also finishing up his 'Electro Caribbean Fusion Jazz' full length album and his more electronica based album 'STORIES OF AN ALIEN BROTHER' which will spur him into new genres he is not commonly known for.
It's all in a days work for Mr. Delano though. He's a man who seems to be made of music.

Biography of Xpansul
Santiago Ferrer, also known as Xpansul, started djing in 1993. Since then, he has played in most of the biggest clubs and festivals all over Spain and Europe. Xpansul’s sound as a dj is techno, his sets are a journey through electronic dance music, in which the “axis” Detroit-Chicago-Berlin-Cologne is the driver and all his other musical influences are the passengers. Since 1998, Santi starts writing and producing music as well, getting a really good response from the crowd and critics to his releases on labels such as Audiodrome, Options, Isoghi, Syl.Label and Soundplant, sometimes working solo and sometimes with his partner Daweed.
In 2003 Xpansul starts his own labels Discos De Lata and MSX manged along Daweed and Miguel Mendoza respectively, which has taken him to a solid position as a producer and label manager on an international level, thanks to the success achieved by his releases on this labels and other releases on Software Records, Sindicato Records and Random Dynamics. And it was back then when Xpansul met well respected producer Alexi Delano and they started a series of collaborations, both original tracks and remixes, that have been put out on labels such as Plus 8, Truesoul, Frankie Recs and Leftroom, taking Xpansul one step ahead in his already promising career.
His tracks have been supported by some of the most influential Djs of the international scene, being played and appearing in charts of artists such as Richie Hawtin, Magda, Troy Pierce, Joel Mull, Alexi Delano, Adam Beyer, Paco Osuna, Davide Squillace, Tadeo, Miss Kittin, Jaumëtic, John Dahlbäck, Djinxx, Oliver Lieb, Marco Carola, Ángel Molina, Laurent Garnier, Leandro Gámez, Dj Hell, Fabrice Lig, Jori Hulkkonnen, James Holden, and Tiga. Xpansul is now preparing his Live PA set as a new challenge for the new times to come in order to transmit his personal view of realtime creation and performing. Using new and old tools such as laptop, controller and analogue synths Xpansul will recreate his working process in the studio in front of the crowd. Available from May 2007, more music by Xpansul will soon be released on Leftroom, Is This A Label?, Immigrant, Pariter, Apnea. Stay tuned!!
