Biography of Monoblock
Monoblock was born in the first months of 2005 with the departure of its two members (Martin TC & Guikle) from their home in Uruguay, to Valencia, Spain. Their show is a complete live act in which they improvise dance music through two laptops using their own loops and songs. They combine different genres over a techno landscape demonstrating a sense of rythm and groove few times seen in the dancefloor. In just 1 year, they played in the most important clubs of Valencia, Latex, Spook, Mogambo, Friends, Leclub and Barraca, and in other cities of Spain like, Castellon, Madrid, Burgos. They preformed at the 'ElectroSplash 2006', an important event of the spanish summer, with a rich line up integrated by artists like Luciano, Silicone Soul, Mike Shannon, Ellen Allien and Damian Lazarus, among other big names of the electronic music scenario.
