MPIII.com features downloads of live sets and mix sets posted by our members. These live sets and mix sets are posted in appreciation for the artists that created them. You will find biographies, images and links for all the artists featured on the site. This helps in promoting the people that create the music which we love. Biography of A-Call
Resident DJ for Squadron events in Malta and also has regular appearances in Unfocused events and also Electronic Theory. The style is inspired by artist with the likes of Spacid (Belgium), Detroit artists and selected German DJ's.
We are Squadron -
Since April 2003 we have been organizing underground events in which we pride ourselves in bringing over the real innovative electronic artists which we all admire and highly respect. We put a strong emphasis on producing a unique style by generating a continuous fusion between art and music – a fusion that manifests itself to the fullest in our events. We don’t need main-stream line-ups to attract the masses, and money is the least of our goals.
We are amused by silly immature promoters who spend half their 'precious’ time projecting love & respect to all their pea-headed admirers, ever seeking to impress the lame masses with massive dance events that 'rock' our island.
We are quite impressed by the ever increasing house loving retro puppet clones and even more amazed by the infected ones, and yes we like your new Mohawk hairstyle and your dirty shoes, your grandpa’s pullover and yes, I’d love to have one of those fancy school bags and finally one day the highlight of my life will actually be putting mascara on my silky smooth face – and I’ll be just like one of the few enlightened krang-like fish on wheels!
We feel quite inferior to inverted smurf heads! We're positive that wicked Gargamel has a nice steaming cauldron full of veggies ready for you.
We think highly of certain easily impressed individuals. We tend to have an extra sense for noticing the little things that they do and say to gain acceptance by their eternal puppet master! It maybe just a game for the master but its heaven and all for the simpleton!
We also have great respect for the help we get from the people who respect and help us! Thanks.
