Biography of Yungj
Born and raised in Varna, Bulgaria, Martin Dimchev aka Youngj's involvement in the electronic music scene kicked of at the early age of 8, when he first acquired 'The Best' tape by Jean Michel Jarre, which turned out to be the foundation of Martin's musical journey through electronic music, charging him with energy to explore artists like Kraftwerk, New Order, Afrika Bambaataa, Derrick May and more.
In his early teenage years he was enthused with big time techno DJs such as Jeff Mills, Marco Baileyand or Space Dj'z. The big change in his musical preferences was triggered by a party in the well known Comics Club in Varna, for the first time experiencing the deep sounds of Fred Everything, thus beginning his fascination for Deep House music.
A few months later his unique way of putting together music ranging from deep & jazzy stuff, to UK tech-house, to minimal got him a residency in Club Masai, one of Bulgaria's hottest clubs to date. Currently he is holding a residency in Club Weekend (Varna) and the infamous Comics Club. Recently he became part of the Invader crew, one of Bulgaria's biggest Promoter Organisations for who he also holds a residency. Behind the decks he has played alongside DJ's such as Hipp-E, Nathan Coles, Jay Tripwire, Asad Rizvi, Jay West, Tangun, Bryan Jones and many others
