Delano discovered electronic music quite late. The first party's he visited were in 2003, and after that he decided to buy some records and spin them at home. In the beginning of 2004 he gets in touch with minimal techno for the first time, and he was really touched by that specific sound. After that period Delano visited a lot of other minimal partys. DJ's like Ricardo Villalobos, Troy Pierce, Magda, Luciano and Richie Hawtin gave me a whole new view on music, and spinning it. Delano started using external effectboxes, such as loop samplers. Experimenting with new technologies like this always fascinated him. In 2005 Delano decided to buy Finalscratch. The biggest advantage of this system is that you can carry a lot of music with you, this results in surprising performances. In 2004 Zapclub asked him to perform in Simplon, and after that performance he played at different local party's. His talent was also noticed by the organisation Technootjes, where Delano is now one of the residents.
