Born in Italy of Polish descent, Toronto-based Aleksandra (formerly known as Reckless Girl) came from a family of professional musicians and studied piano at a very young age. As Aleksandra grew older, she developed a passion for house music which lead her to invest in her own set of turntables at the tender age of sixteen. By eighteen, she won Toronto's iFX DJ Competition and secured bookings in London, Waterloo and Toronto nightclubs. She consistently plays in those cities but has extended her reach to include Ottawa, Niagara Falls, Kingston, Hamilton, Kitchener and Cambridge, as well as the hottest party destination for summer long-weekends in Ontario – Grand Bend.

In 2006, Aleksandra proved herself once again and beat out hundreds of competitors and broke into the top 25 list of Canadian DJs as rated by Klublife Magazine. She also had her demo mix 'Sugar Free' pre-released during the Executive Mix on 100.7FM Club246 Radio. In addition, Aleksandra was recently sponsored by Scandal House Designs; a high-end urban clothing label for women, and is a resident DJ for Firebush Entertainment, Club246 and Lushus Groove in Kingston.

With 6 years under her belt, Aleksandra is able to adapt her sound to any venue setting whether it is deep house, vocal, big-room or progressive; but is best recognized for her electro house style. She is known for her programming, smooth transitions and on-deck creativity and is rapidly becoming a household name in Toronto. In addition to her hard work on and off the decks, Aleksandra continues her journey seeking new sounds and venues ready to showcase her talent and inspire a new and growing generation of clubbers around the world.
