Biography of Luka Baumann
He works with his brother Grovskopa under the piercingly poignant name of Brethren and also had a brief, but intensively creative period with Mark Belson of Adverse Records as the mythical Res Contraria.
Luka Baumann, also referred to as 'The Majesty Ov Eall Pan-Slavic Subjects' in profane underground circles, 'He Who Descended' and 'El Joven Eslavo'. Currently steering the course of PSNZ Records and Emergence Records with Grovskopa, Luka started his ongoing self-exploration and immolation through the medium of music at the tender age of 15. After years of crafting his telestic skills, in 2004, hot on heels of Judas He emerges on to the surface to claim what is rightfully His.
Influences: coil, steve reich, thighpaulsandra, surgeon, regis, autechre, boyd rice, nurse with wound, current 93, grovskopa, james ruskin, karjalan sissit, shinjuku thief, makaton, phillip glass, vromb, SPK, italian futurism, john cage`s experimental music theory.
