Bob Banana was born on november 16th 1979 in Vienna, Austria. In his early years he started to go out to the legendary austrian club 'Sofiensäle'. During these clubbing nights the foundation for his love for House music was laid. After finishing school in 1998 he travelled to the 'island of House' Ibiza for the first time. The unforgetable nights in the island´s best clubs had a big influence on his life as he decided to become a DJ himself. After getting back home he bought his first turntables and the basics of his record collection. One year later his home dj-booth was complete and he spent many days and nights full of enthusiasm, passion and ambition on learning and improving the basic skills of dj-ing.

Bob Banana played his first gig, which was amazing 8 hours long, at a bar on NYE 2004/2005. It was a big success and a few months later he played his first club set at the Area 51. Since then Bob was given the opportunity to perform at some some of the best national clubs and bars. Being a perfectionist he always focuses on the biggest upfront tracks in combination with perfect in-beat-transitions and wicked effects and tools.

Another very important project in cooperaton with his friend and webdesigner Gabriel Hill, brother of legendary House DJ Roger Sanchez, that launched in 2004 was his own website www.BobBanana.com . A plattform to comunicate with people who love House music as much as he does and a place to provide his unique mixes. Bob´s sets have allready been featured on many very important radio shows such as 'Hed Kandi' with DJ Tom De Neef or 'BNNLOS 3FM' with DJ Lucien Foort.

In 2006 due to the amazing quality of his sets Bob was added to the dj-pool of the DJ-agency 'Pinup Productions' and since then is a valuable asset to the team. Just a few months earlier Bob, DJ Sonic and DJ Junior Sonic started their own 'We love House' project, a clubbing plattform with the ambition to satisfy the party people with the best up-to-date House sounds. At the moment Bob Banana is one of the resident DJs of 'Stylez', one of the most famous bars in Vienna.

At the beginning of 2008 Bob Banana changed his sound from funky and pumping sets to synth, melodic & emotional Underground House vibes. At the same time he headed to the studio to concentrate on his own productions that will proof his amazing musical talent so make sure to keep an eye on this guy!
