Goodie
Matthias Springer attended his passion for electronic Sounds at the young age of 15, inspired by DJs like Talle2XLC or Marc Spoon later he was affected by the straight sounds of acts like Johannes Heil or Pascal FEOS. So he decided to buy his own Equipment at the age of 17.
At that time he organized a lot of private Underground-Parties in the south of Thuringia/Germany together with DJ D.A.K. and LJ Funky. Because of the straight progressive techno sound, these parties became very famous. During his first gig at the K2 Club in Kronach, he meet DukeXS for the first time and this contact pushed him to his first residency at the Matrix in Coburg. So he also had the possibility to spread his sound at some great regional open air festivals.
From 2000 to 2003 he had to make a break in dj-ing because of some job-related facts, so he started his first steps in producing during his sparetime. His tracks can be found on TRT-Music or Pulsar Records and some releases will follow at Rumpfunk Music.
In 2004 he relocated at his adopted home Munich City, where he had some new gigs in teamwork with the Electronic League Acts, especially at the Octagon Club (former Ultraschall) Under his new Name 'MFS' he rocked the crowd as if there were no dawn.
During this time he also had some residencies at different broadcast-stations like MUC-Radio, Technoelement or Electronic Universe, where he played his first time together with Lexy&K-Paul. In 2005 he changed his residency from EU to the Munich web-TV station 'radio quintessenz' and meanwhile he is one main-leader of the whole quintessenz project.
For him quintessenz was the first web-portal where he can live out his passion for the electronic music not only in one way. So he also used quintessenz for train his abilities in managing and marketing.
During the whole time in DJ-ing, Matthias Springer tried to combine different genres of electronic music to attend his own style. The result is a mix between grooving dub sounds and progressive tribal techno tools. But he also had a soft spot for Jazz-House and Chill Out, especially for psychedelic tunes. There is only one genre that will never loose ground for him and that is Acid. As acoustic application or mainstream sound, acid accompanied him every time and will ever be important for his musical evolution.
So last but not least there is only one thing to say: Music means Passion
