Biography of Mark Lewis
Mark Lewis has been a leading figure in the industry for 17 years. In addition to being a DJ who has spun throughout Europe, Asia, North and South America and South Africa, he has earned an unchallenged reputation for producing successful DJ sets worldwide.
He formalised his operations in the summer of 2000 when he launched Mixology Inc. a Los-Angeles-based multifaceted company encompassing a record label and a production / events department that offers lifestyle options for DJ's and DJ connoisseurs.
Since then, Mixology recording clients have included giants such as Ministry of Sound, Global Underground, Cream and Perfecto Records. Mixology has also hosted numerous DJ events, including Carl Cox, Paul Oakenfold/Perfecto and Sasha, many of which introduced superstar English DJs to North American audiences.
Mixology has also attracted a wide variety of corporate clients and sponsors, such as Playboy, Bacardi, Adidas, Red Bull, Armani Exchange, Astroglide, House of Blues, Stussy and Skyy Vodka.
Mixology and Mark's success and longevity can in part be attributed to personal relationships that began in the early 1970s, before the dance music scene even had a name and in part to his unique blend of passion and professionalism that has made Mark Lewis and Mixology remain successful without losing an ounce of its all-important street credibility.
