Biography of Marc Cotterell
International turntabelist Marc Cotterell's admittance to the edification of House music started in a 1994 triumph, taking honors competitively at the largest club in southern England, a then eager 16 year old Cotterell began the construction of a monumental passage dedicated to deep soul and the inmost sounds of House music.
With Cornish derivation Marc's footing originates in the southwest of England. A steady flow of private and free parties led to an immediate successful residency masterminded by Cotterell. Housetrained began the 1996 formation of the eclectic electronic influenced 'Boogalu' crew.
In his 15 years experience appearances are pronounced throughout Europe and North America.
Credentials include within the UK: Fruity Antics, Lakotar (Bristol), Plastic People, 333, Rhythm Factory (London), L'america and Sumo (Cardiff). Throughout Spain a 2 year residency at Batukada (Murica), Metro (Valencia), and Garding Club (Alicante). North America bookings include one of Chicago's best kept secrets, Tini Martini, Mac's Bar (Lansing), Stone Lounge (Toronto), and Supermarket (Toronto). Recent accreditation include a week long tour of Bulgaria premiering at Comics, Club Horizont, (Varna) and Sugar (Sofia).
From Bristol's Galaxy Radio to Brazil's Grooveland, broadcasts offer an impressive list of bookings and guest slots. Mark's influential sets are simulcast in circulation across the world. Featuring a 3 year stint with the now defunct Planetsoul Network, Marc's broadcasts have gained a devoted fan basis and international acknowledgment.
