Biography of Tony Kasper
Born and raised in Milwaukee, WI; Tony Kasper, also known as Mindbender when performing to the masses, has definitely kept a steady hand inside the underground techno communities throughout the past 12 years. Tony has been an integral part of numerous promotional companies, performed at countless events, always making sure to push the boundaries of the underground dance culture. Unafraid to look for strength and beauty where others may only see decay, Tony's passion and belief for high caliber music has always come natural. Growing up as a kid, he was exposed to many types of music, including Blues, Jazz, and Rock N Roll, etc. There was no turning back.
He has opened up for such internationally-known artists as Alexi Delano, The Advent, Adam Beyer, Bryan Zentz, Adam Marshall, Mike Dearborn, Cari Lekebusch, Traxx, Cajmere, Gene Hunt, Frankie Vega, Lester Fitzpatrick, Mark Verbos, Terry Mullan, Frankie Bones, Headroom, Bad Boy Bill, and many more. Being exposed at this level, he found himself traveling everywhere from the Midwest to the East Coast and back, reaching out to dedicated Techno fans.
Tony's style can be considered as dark, aggressive, funky, floor-burning Techno. Some of his main initial influences have stemmed from the likes of: Cari Lekebusch, The Advent, Surgeon, Regis, Joel Mull, Adam Beyer, Samuel L Session, Ben Sims, Jeff Mills, Thomas Schumacher, Bryan Zentz, Marco Carola, Oscar Mulero, Carl Craig, etc. Tony's mixing technique, programming and quick skills utilize three decks and multiple audio sources that seem to be unparalleled thus controlling a crowd with every measure is always his main focus.

Biography of The Overfiend
Matt Caputo has been a nomad since birth, with an unparalleled passion for both music and life. With his inclusion into the Detroit techno scene five years ago, he found his true calling behind the decks. After joining the Peoplemover camp, run by Andy Toth (formerly of the Detroit Grand Pubahs) and Colin Zyskowski (Tora Tora Tora), he learned the industry rapidly and gained the reputatations as one of Detroit's best DJ's.
Matt is a natural in the art of DJing -- a zen DJ if you will. He has the ability to grab hold of a crowd with ease, and take them to whole new levels of musical experience. His unique style of dirty electrified techno is driving, hypnotic, while maintaining minimal sensibilities. The Overfiend has shown a prodigal mastery of DJ skills.
In just a short time, Matt has worked his way up the ranks of Detroit DJ's, playing along side some of the world's best, including Adam Beyer, Prototype 909, Suburban Knight, Sean Deason, Sleeparchive, and Punisher. Taking the next step in his career with the production of his own music, Matt will be bringing a multitude of releases and a new label in 2007-keep your eyes on The Overfiend, because he's a legend in the making. Matt is one half of the newly formed Detroit label Hej Records with Punisher, where they will push forth their unique sound.
