Biography of Franco Bianco
Franco Bianco begans his career, in the electronic music scene of Argentine in 1998, by the hand of his friends, related to the local scene, such as Maxi Aubert, Matias Furchi and Leandro Bravo.
On his way trough the local scene, Bianco participated in many pubs and events like: Garage, Deep Blue Recoleta, Kimia, The White Room, Primitive Fest, Rojas Cultural Center, Feria del Dorrego, among others, where it showed his talent and technique behind the decks, presenting/displaying his Set in clubs and event in Capital Federal and other states, during the years 99, 2000, 2001 and 2002.
In the year 2003, he started his international career in Uruguay, performing the warm up for Bajo Fondo Tango Club on the beach 'La Balconada' in La Paloma.
During that summer, he was the resident of 'El Anden', a disco-pub in front of the beach 'Great Bay', where he had also his own radio called 'Two Centuries Club' mixing live every day of 00hs to 03hs by the 102,3 'FM Cadena de la Costa', listened from La Paloma to Punta del Este.
His second residence obtained it in the 2004, in 'Kimia' disco in Palermo Hollywood, where he had the chance to shared the booth with djs like, Big Fabio, Dj Paul, Rama, and Tommy Jacobs.
Taking particular classes from musical production, his sets has characterizes of his laptop (Ableton Live) and two decks.
His sets based mainly on the complex sounds, from tech-house, electro, techno trough minimal tech, always including in his own mixes, tracks and samples.
During the 2004, Bianco and Furchi made a cycle of events called 'Enigma', where they shared talents with artists as _ Xav (resident of the Cigale and Pacha Buenos Aires); Esteban Cavalieri; Maxi Aubert; Violett (one of the most important deejays of Argentine); Juan Pryor; Simon and Thirst Heineken's finalist, Ezequiel Calabra.
One of most important presentations was on Saturday, November 6 in the event 'Personal Fest', where he shared the line up, with eminences of international music like, Blondie, Pet Shop Boys, Morrisey, Rin'cer'se, Gustavo Cerati, Primal Scream, Death in Vegas, among other artists, and shared booth with deejays like Marcos Paz, Andy Smith, Boeing, 2 many djs, and other national and international artists, in the most important event on international music of Latin America.
In December of 2004, was invited to the program 'Boogie Nights' leads by the most important radio of electronic scene of Argentine FM X4 106,7 where he made a Set for 3 hours and was interviewed.
Friday, December 17, dismissed the year of his electronic cycle Enigma, next to Shawn Ward (producing and deejay Canadian) and Paul Velvet, among others, in the international edition of enigma that had exhausted tickets, more than 1500 people and it was made in one of the most important clubs in Argentina, Lost Bs As.
In summer 2005, he made an international tour by the Uruguayan coast, where he played all January on beaches of Atlantis, La Pedrera, and next to the local dj Pablo Barboza in Dove Sounds in 'La Paloma'.
Starting 2005, a difficult year in Argentine electronic scene, Franco Bianco, didn’t stop and was showing in different places like in one of the best discos of Buenos Aires, (Bahrein Funky Room), soon to be called on July to play in room XSS on the same club.
Throughout the 2005, Bianco produced his own program of radio through the Internet and FM (Enigma Exclusive), where has invited to play live an important deejays/producing of the local and international scene, like Hernan Cornner, Someone Else, Violett, Barem, Krampack, Shemale, Xav, Moebius & Ezze Ramone, Miss Akane and Lila Aranda, just for name some of them.
During his present residence in Midland Lounge, Bianco shared booth and talent with artists likes; Leo Garcia, Fabian Dellamónica, Victoria Mil, Diego Ro-k, Rama, Zuker, Hernan Cronner, Entre Rios, Mujik, Ale Lacroix, Flavio Etcheto, Gustavo Ceratti, among other important artists.
Already in August, Bianco was invited to Aspen Classic radio from Punta del Este, where he made an exclusive Set for exclusive listeners, in the program called 'Club Life'.
During September and October, Bianco appeared in different pubs and clubs like Odyssey, The Cigale, The White Room, among others, and in November was called to play on the festival of new tendencies called 'Codigo Pais', in 'Laboratory of Sounds Heineken', where showed his complete productions and his experimental facet, in the quiet room with 70 earpieces of high fidelity.
Finishing 2005, Franco Bianco got 5 proposals of different bookings to obtain exclusive features, but still continues on his own.
In November he appeared in the state of Catamarca, for 6 thousand people, place where he played his set live on the local tv. Also during December, started his residence in the disco 'Ulpiano' from La Plata, next to Luis Zerillo, artist of Creamfields, where the first two dates made dance more than 8 thousand people.
For summer 2006, he prepared for an extensive tour on the land thar rather his treated him in the last few years (Uruguay), where he will presented by the local dj Vince in 'Punta del Diablo', 'La Pedrera' and 'La Paloma'.
His best date will be on the event Pure Punta Festival, where he will present Friday, 20 and Sunday, 21 of January in the main stage with capacity for 8000 people, sharing booth with internationals artist like Marco Carola, Mistress Barbara, Joeyce Mercedes, Christopher Lawrence, Tania Vulcano, entre otros.
His upcoming projects include the finishing of his first EP production and the conquest of the European and American market.
