Biography of Dixon
Dixon from Sonar Kollektiv is currently one of the hottest producers and DJ's from Jazzanovas' Sonar Kollektiv stable. Formerly resident at some of most important nightclubs in Berlin of the mid nineties such as the legendary E-Werk and Tresor ,Steffan 'Dixon' Berkhahn is first and foremost a House DJ. He went on to run Audio Video Disco, which was rated as one of Germany's most influential house nights. He has remixed artists such as Femi Kuti, Georg Levin, Atjazz and Jazzanova amongst others. Though today he is best known under the Wahoo moniker alongside remix partner Georg Levin. The popular Off Limits compilation CD series compiled and mixed by Dixon himself has taken him to clubs worldwide playing in world renowned clubs such as Fabric (London), The Room (Tokyo) and Djing alongside friends such as Harvey, Metro Area, DJ Spinna, Masters at Work and many more. Dixon's DJ sets are fast becoming a must see experience as both technically and musically he is making his own style within dance music.
