Biography of DJ Norman

When one of Germanys best Techno-Clubs, like Kassel’s Stammheim, is around the corner it must cause an effect.Being 16 Norman started djing, infected by electronic music.

Three months later he passed the first tests at the Afterhour-Club Spot in Kassel, Sphinx Houseclub and Technopartys in Kassel’s infamous Club ARM followed soon and then Stammheim, where everything started. In 1999 he played there for the first time. Many rousing sets later he became resident at the club.

His passion for Techno music which has got him bad so early is basis and motive for him being a DJ. Breaking musical barriers -by playing an Elvis track at the end of his set or scratching parts influenced by Hip Hop during his set- the cheering crowd thanks him! The unique Stammheim Techno style influenced Norman decisive. Hard, without compromises, but never loosing his own playful elegance he uses different kinds of electronic music, referring to himself, the party and its guests.

Because of his regular, sudorific, ecstatic Saturday-dates at Stammheim he didn’t have much time to play and to get popular in other clubs. With the final closing this has changed. His performances take him more and more to distant places.
