Biography of Dandy

My name is DANDY (Peter Szigeti), I was born in Hungary on the 7 of June in 1978. I got closer to music when I was 14, I realized when I went to a club I was always dancing and trying to understand the sounds. Then I found myself buying bakelites, and when I had enough of them, I tried to mix them and be honest, it was not bad at all. Then I decided that seemed to be much more fun! Almost 10 years ago I had my first gig in a little club close to my hometown. After this little parties, I had the occasion to prove my talent in one of the biggest club in Hungary called FLORT, after all I became the resident there, in 2006 I got the exclusive residency there. I had the fortune to play in almost every catched up club, on smashing events in Hungary and I also tried myself abroad. People says that I am very popular because of my various warm up sets. I played before very good names, like Hernan Cattaneo, Sasha, James Zabiela, Tiesto, Nick Warren, Sander Kleinenberg and many other international top DJs. It took long to find my own Dandy - style. Let me say that I prefer playing deep and progressive house music. I don..t like the sing-song sounds, that..s why my sets are always different from each other. In the mean time I worked for different radio stations as a presenter/editor. From 2005 a very popular internet radio station, called Justmusic FM hired me as a main editor. On Justmusic FM I have a three hours long live show, with my collegue DJ CHRISS, called MONITOR. In the same year we made a very good remix of QUASAR: OCTOBER together, it was played by John Digweed, Hernan Cattaneo, etc. In 2005 as well, by reason of the love for the music and passion for the sounds I founded TRUESOUNDS, a company that made for organising events, parties, and also works as a DJ agency. 2006 was a very busy year for me fortunately. Justmusic FM launched a CD series, and the second part was mixed by Dandy. It was a great experience, I loved it! I feel lucky, indeed - TRUESOUNDS events goes well, I did gigs I hold dear to my heart, MONITOR is one of the most listened show on Justmusic FM and we have people following us everywhere where we organise TRUESOUNDS events. In conclusion let me say about few thoughts of mine: I truly believe that music can get people closer, and the most exciting feeling for me to see smiles on the dancefloor, then I feel like I am at home.

Biography of Chriss

Dj Chriss - Krisztián Horváth - was born on 26th of October, 1977 in Budapest. The thought of playing music came at an early age, he built his career step by step, working hard. He made an entrance behind the turntables as early as 1994 and has been a frequent guest of the best clubs of Hungary. In 1997 Club Korona became the official stage of BPM ( Booking Promotion Management ) and Global Underground Management which meant performances of Sasha, John Digweed, Dave Seaman and similar well-known names. Krisztián was resident here so he had the honor to be warm-up DJ at all events. The mix album of Nick Warren - Nick Warren - Global Underground 011: Budapest from Hungary - was recorded here as well. This made the club well-known on the international stage. In 2001 BPM and GU moved to HOME in Budapest where Krisztián could play next to the best ones. Soon he got invitations from abroad. He played at Love Parade in Berlin, at the Creamfields, Summer of Love and Hardhouse festivals of Prague just as in almost all of the neighbouring countries. On July the 26th he was invited to one of London's superclubs, The Cross to an event called Renaissance night. It was there that one of Britain's most prestigious magazines, MIXMAG interviewed the young talent. This was followed by appraisal on the Dutch site www.xpander.nl . The first invitation to Tokyo came to Anthony Pappa's Global Underground debut party. He has been a regular guest in Tokyo and Osaka since then. In 2003 his first mix CD is published called Directions. He founds Quasar with his friend Richie from the Draft. Their first track Together is played in John Digweed's radio show on Kiss 100. In 2004 he founds his own Label called Foundation Records, where his next mix CD named Chriss - The Trip (Redirection Of Sound) is released. In 2005 his new maxi CD and vinyl October is published which brings acclaimed fame. It enters John Digweed's and Hernan Cattaneo's hit list and is also played in three different versions in Digweed's Kiss 100 Radio Show. Hernan played it at Metro Dance and it is liked by names like Dave Seaman, Anthony Pappa, Desin Masyello to mention but a few. Thanks to the success it had, it was made into a video which can be seen on VIVA music channel. In 2005 Krisztián gets invited to Slovakia's biggest party to Tiesto's on Tour in Bratislava. The same year he starts an own online radio programme on JustMusci.Fm which is called Monitor. The beginning of this year meant a tour in Thailand where he was lucky enough to play at the world famous Full Moon party at Koh Phangha entertaining 10-15 thousand people. In 2006 he was asked to make the first official mix Cd for Just Music fm. This is followed by a tour with 14 stops. Nowadays he is making the video clip of his new maxi which is going to be released in July. Since 2001 he is DJ of the Year and gets awarded Mix CD of the Year on several websites. Besides his label and Quasar get awarded first or second prizes. Chriss represents a unique music style, his sets have no comparison. His style could be described as house, epic-house, tribal at times, but he is just as familiar with tech. It makes no difference if he makes a warm-up or a full time performance, his play's characteristics are always quality and exclusiveness, creating an incomparable atmosphere in any party he performs at.
