Biography of Laurent Ho
Laurent Ho discovered techno music in 1989 through Boy's and Rex's first parties in Paris and started mixing techno and trance in 1991 on FG radio, in 1992 on rave parties before moving towards hardcore between 1993 and 1998. Since 1998, he has gone back to techno.
As a techno DJ, Laurent Hô took part in big festivals and techno parties around the world, near Carl Cox, Jeff Mills, Jack de Marseille, The Hacker, Oxia... like the French Techno Parade (1998/1999), Helio Colors (2000), Astropolis (2000), Limelight (New-York 2001), The Arrival (Canada 2001)... In Germany, he took part in Mayday, Rave City, Love Bomb... Since one year, Laurent Ho has played each month in Germany. He will play next week at the Universal dog in Germany, close to Strasbourg, and will make a small tour in Canada early November.
Laurent is a hard worker who increased his labels, pseudonyms, collaborations (with the American the Genie, the Belgian Liza N'Eliaz, the Italian Randy, the French Tonio, Money Penny Project, Jennifer or Sex Toy) and productions (two albums, three mix CDs, a samples' Cd Rom and some thirty vinyls, music for exhibition, futuristic design project CD Rom...). After the creation of Epiteth rec., the first French hardcore label in 1994, Laurent Hô rallies his activities under UWe (Uncivilized World entertainment) made up of Anlx (techno), Gazole (hardtechno), Human (mix of DJ), Opulsion (ambient/ trip-hop), UW (industrial), Woody Stuff (drum'n'bass) labels.
