Biography of Shelley Parker

Recruited to the notorious Haywire roster after witnessing her DJ skills at the art-inspired electro night 'NERD' which she co-promoted, London based DJ, Shelley Parker has been rocking dancefloors all over the UK and Europe. A fan of electro, techno, acid, hardcore, drum & bass, grime and all shades in between, she adeptly flicks between genres yet maintains a brooding dark minimal edge underlying the mix. Her refusal to be restricted to one style and her versatility has seen her playing effortlessly alongside the slick company of Magda, Miss Kittin and Andrew Weatherall and yet still hold her own on raw-edge underground turf alongside the likes of Radioactive Man, Si Begg and the Plastician.

Her sonic playgrounds include her current DJ residency at the Haywire Sessions (T Bar, London) with recent guests Magda, Bolz Bolz and Repeat Repeat. She also regularly plays to the forward-thinking dancefloors of Encompass, Alt Ctrl, Alien Radio, Combat, Colony, Contact, LFM, Being Boiled and Minimallondon at venues such as Fabric, The End, Stealth, The Egg, The Attic, Herbal, Maffia (Italy) and Moog (Barcelona).

Including working on her own studio productions as well as a collaboration with electro/techno outfit Transparent Sound, she also forms part of the Ammunition radio team for Combat Recordings on Play FM alongside noted electronic deviants Stormfield, Cursor Miner and Scanone. Coming to DJing through a different angle of photography and sound art she has now developed her ideas to a point where she has launched her own label STRUCTURE as a platform for likeminded artists to push the boundaries of found sound within electronic dance music.

Biography of ScanOne

Gritty cinematic breakbeats laced with crisp electronica edits and reinforced with London-bred basslines. This is the sound of Scan One. Having toured the world as part of the renowned Light Surgeons live visual crew, Jude Greenaway is an equally accomplished producer and DJ, pushing his characteristic sound across London venues like Fabric, Wang, Bass Invader, Ginglik and as far abroad as Finland and Morocco. His background in visual editing lends a unique feel to his tracks, perfectly matching sounds to images, moods and textures that are as clear in your mind as they are projected across massive screens in clubs like London's Fabric. ScanOne's 7th Bullet EP was unleashed in autumn 2004 to great support within the electro community, with 'Kik It' pre-empting the electro/grime crossover by a whole year. His other tracks have been supported on BBC Breezeblock, in particular the 2-step electro track 'YesYes' and dubstep/electro mutant 'Dubwise'. 2006 sees ScanOne continue to pursue his unique angle on dark, bass-heavy dancefloor electronics.
