Biography of Thom Banks
Thom Banks has been a staple in the Garden City house and techno scene since 1998. Thom has an annual residency on the Renegade Sound System beach stage at Soundwave, West Coast Canada's fabled 3 day outdoor electronic music festival that happens every summer. DJing has allowed him to travel to the beaches of Mexico, the full moon parties in Thailand, the all-night clubs and parties of Taiwan and Hong Kong, and the lounges and clubs in Toronto. He has played alongside talents such as Mark Farina, Dirt Crew, John Howard, Miss Honey Dijon, Halo, Gene Farris, and David Alvarrado, to name a few. Thom's sound is often described as a bridge between house and techno.
