Simon developed a deep passion for music at a very early age. Actively collecting music since he was just a tot, he was inspired by early 80s punk and progressive rock. Once a well established DC skateboarder, at 14 he was picked up by 2 sponsors and was involved in putting on many events hosting some of the world's best teams (Birdhouse, Sonic, Foundation, Alien Workshop, Warped Tour etc.) He got bitten by the Techno bug at the ripe young age of 15 and picked up his first pair of decks. Two years later he quickly began to dominate his local club/rave scene and became a regular guest at the legendary Tracks and Edge nightclubs in Washington, as well as a fixture at many of the regions best underground events. Word spread quickly and he was soon on his way to cities like Toronto playing the massive 'State' and 'Winterglatic' events, Buffalo and Niagara Falls super massives, and legendary clubs like NYC's Tunnel.
In 2001 he decided it was time to take promotion into his own hands and created 'Sleaze', one of the worlds first club nights dedicated to the newly emerging electrohouse scene. Sleaze gathered a lot of press and was a huge success in exposing such great artists as Legowelt, My Robot Friend, John Selway, Ulysses, Valentio Kanzyani, Justin Robertson, Tommie Sunshine, Jambi, Dj Unknown, Spalding Rockwell, Paul Edge, DMX Krew, Traxx, Barry Weaver, Jean-Philippe Aviance, Larry Tee, Miss Kittin, Tiefschwarz, Richie Hawtin, Invasion Plannete Phonograms, and many more to the masses. The sounds caught on and Simon's Sleaze events were soon incorporated into a monthly residency at the world renowned event 'Buzz' (Voted #1 Mega Club and Best Club Promoter in USA by Urb Magazine for 8 years). Today Simon is still a staple @ Buzzlife's 'Cubik' Events. (Voted Best New Club Night 2004 By URB), and currently holding down fort with residencies @ Club Five, in Washington D.C.
